Cloud Readiness Index 2018 – APAC continues its global lead
Since 2011, the Cloud Readiness Index has been the definitive reference for assessing Asia Pacific’s readiness for cloud computing adoption.
Economies are measured across 10 quantitative parameters, with policies and regulations reviewed as part of the process. This report contains detailed analysis of countries across the region, giving you a comprehensive look at the technological landscape in APAC.
Singapore and Hong Kong are the top performers in APAC, and indeed globally. This is based on areas including connectivity, broadband, sustainability and regulation.
International connectivity has increased by 63% year-on-year, putting APAC economies in what’s described as ‘a strong position to lead the next wave of digital innovation’.
Many APAC governments continue to provide support around cloud infrastructure, planning and procurement, in the form of ‘Cloud First’ strategies.
There’s a big gap between top-performing countries and those at the bottom, with few to be found in the middle.
